Gulls first up for Cod Army

Fleetwood Town will host Torquay United for their first game as a Football League club on August 18, while York are at home to Wycombe.

League Two fixtures: Announced on Monday

The Cod Army got the better of a long battle with Wrexham for the Blue Square Bet Premier title last season and their opening match comes against a team that has reached the League Two play-offs the last two seasons.

York City, promoted via the play-offs, are also at home on the opening day with Wycombe, one of the teams relegated from League One, their opponents.

Losing play-off finalists Cheltenham start with a home game against Dagenham & Redbridge with early title favourites Rotherham marking the first day with their opening game at the New York Stadium - Burton Albion are their opponent.

Relegated Exeter kick-off their bid to return to League One at home to Morecambe, while Chesterfield travel to AFC Wimbledon and Rochdale host Northampton.
